About me
Hello, and thank you for visiting my page! My name is Arndt Regorz, and I’m a German statistical consultant and Youtube content creator with a passion for teaching advanced statistical techniques. My journey combines a strong academic foundation in psychology and in business administration, making me uniquely equipped to support a wide range of clients in their statistical and methodological needs.
Academic Background
Psychology
I began my academic journey into psychology with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (B.Sc.) from FernUniversität Hagen, where I graduated in 2017. My bachelor’s thesis, focused on the relationsship between fear of unemployment and ageism, was honored with the Award for Outstanding Thesis by the Society of Friends of the FernUniversität in 2018.
Building on this foundation, I completed a Master’s degree in Psychology (M.Sc.), also at FernUniversität Hagen, in 2021. My master’s thesis explored the possible connection between birth order and scientific interest. Both degrees deepened my expertise in psychological research methods, statistical analysis, and empirical investigation.
Business Administration
In addition to my psychology degrees, I hold a Diploma (roughly equivalent to a Master's degree, before Germany made the transition to the Bachelor/Master system of degrees) in Business Administration from the University of Regensburg (graduating in 1992). This program emphasized statistics, finance, and business informatics, skills I applied during my two-decade career in hospital management.
Professional Experience
Since 2018, I have been working as a self-employed statistical consultant, assisting hundreds of clients ranging from undergraduate students to professors across various disciplines, including:
- Psychology
- Business administration
- Other social sciences
My services are available to clients worldwide. I have worked with clients in Europe, America, Asia and Australia.
In addition to one-on-one teaching I teach advanced statistical methods via my Youtube channel with hundreds of videos and more than 1 Mio. views.
Prior to my consulting career, I worked for over 20 years in hospital finanical management. This role honed my analytical skills and practical understanding of applied statistics in a business context.
Beyond Work
Born in 1969, I’m an active member of Mensa in Germany, where I enjoy engaging with a vibrant intellectual community. In my free time, I find joy in the natural world, especially exploring the forest, as well as immersing myself in cultural experiences such as opera, concerts, ballet, and theater.
Whether you're a student seeking clarity in your research or a seasoned professional needing expert statistical advice, I’m here to help.
